Travel advice for the Solheim Cup 2019

Scotland is welcoming the Solheim Cup golf tournament to the PGA Centenary Course at Gleneagles from 9th to 15th September 2019.

Travelling by train

If you're travelling to the event, ScotRail is providing an enhanced rail service for the duration of the Solheim Cup.

For full details - including timetables and booking information - please visit the dedicated pages on the ScotRail website.

A new footbridge will allow spectators direct access to the venue from Gleneagles rail station.

Park & Ride (including shuttle bus service)

For those travelling by car, two Park and Ride services will operate for duration of the event.

These will be based at Stirling (Castleview) for those travelling from the South, and at Perth (McDiarmid Park) for those travelling from the North.

Dedicated shuttle bus services will operate between the Park and Ride sites and the golf course.

Full details about these Park and Ride sites are available on the Traffic Scotland Solheim Cup website.

Services affected are Docharty's Midland/Stagecoach 19/19A, Docherty's 20, Stagecoach 19, Docherty's 49A and Scottish Citylink M8 services.
