Storm Jocelyn:
Public transport information

Last updated on 24/01/24

.

Due to high winds associated with Storm Jocelyn, ScotRail services finished early on Tuesday 23 January. There will be no rush hour services on the morning of Wednesday 24 January to allow safety inspections of railway lines to take place.

Due to the short notice of these changes, the Traveline Scotland journey planner and departure boards may still show some cancelled trains as still running. Please ignore these journey options and check with your rail operator before travelling.

ScotRail train services will be subject to alteration throughout the day on Wednesday 24 January as trains gradually return to service.

During times of short-notice disruption, this page will be updated as we receive information from transport operators.  Where no information shown, the operator has not informed us of disruption to their services.

For trunk roads information, check the Traffic Scotland website.

The Traveline Scotland journey planner uses scheduled and live information - so please click on any clock icon/warning icons shown in journey plans for real-time updates or disruptions to your journey.

Customers are advised to check their operator's website during times of adverse weather for the latest updates. At such times, services may be subject to further changes and/or cancellation at very short notice.

For more updates, follow Traveline Scotland and our Transport Operators list on X (Twitter) for updates.
