Changes to ScotRail services to and from Glasgow Queen Street

As part of the ScotRail Alliance’s preparations to deliver faster, longer, greener trains for Scotland, the tunnel at Glasgow Queen Street High Level station will close for essential upgrading from Sunday 20 March, for 20 weeks. It will reopen on Monday 8 August.

This means that Queen Street High Level station will temporarily close too.

Queen Street Low Level station will remain open and ScotRail train services will be diverted either to Low Level or to Glasgow Central.

All services that normally arrive at or leave from Glasgow Queen Street High Level will be affected in some way, and journeys will take around 25 minutes longer.

Revised journey times and routes are shown in the Traveline Scotland journey planner.
